Marathons : Paul #11, Leah #2, State #2 : Chicago Marathon 2011

Our first marathon together running the whole way. Leah did a great job for her first marathon and I completed a 3rd World Marathon Major.
The course through Chicago was great, we had taken one of the tourist open top bus tours the day before which really helped on the run as we recognized many of the buildings and sights we were running by. It was also a surprising 70F / 26C in October!
The highlight for me was meeting Dean Karnazes at the Expo the day before. I had read his books and he inspired me into running more marathons and in particular the 52 Mile Ultra.
